Country Baby Names

This happens to be a list of a lot of songs, TV, states/counties, etc that could be really cute names. A lot of country music and a lot of others things mentions names, well those names don't scream "I'm country, ya'll" like wranglers do, but they do have a major effect on someone at first glance. (And yes I am a lot stronger in the girl name department as you will see below.)
P.S. These just are my personal thoughts that I've pulled from lots of places, no exact place.

Girl Names
Alain/Alaina/Alaine - the young country singer Lauren Alaina
Angelina - a county in east Texas
Austyn/Austin - taken from Blake Shelton's "Austin"
Bell - would be a cute middle name, it would be a county in Texas
Candy Dix - that would be from the Duke's of Hazzard (TV show that ran 1979-1985)



Cass - county in east Texas
Chelsea - from the Reba's "Somebody's Chelsea"
Daisy - also take from the Duke's of Hazzard (TV show that ran 1979-1985) and it's a country flower
Dixie - everyone country has heard the world Dixie references most of the time a place of a home
Dolly - one of the queens of country music, Dolly Parton
Elvira/Elvia - from the Oakridge Boy's "Elvira"
Emmy - a shortened version of the name from George Strait's "Check Yes or No"
Emmy Lou Hayes - from George Strait's "Check Yes or No"
Kay - a shortened version of the name from Chris Cagle's "Let there be Cowgirls"
Kay Lynn - from Chris Cagle's "Let there be Cowgirls"
June - from the Heidi Newfield "Johnny and June"
Jo - great country middle name by the way...happens to be mine
Lynn - a county almost in the panhandle of Texas
Joeli - it's just cute
Jolene - from Dolly Parton's "Jolene", not sure if you wanna name your girl off a cheatin' song but hey
Josephine - takin' your Texan style and Mexican, and puttin' it together
Montana - well that is from the state obviously
Rusty - from the movie Footloose (2011)
Savannah - the capital of Georgia
Scarlet - one of the stars from ABC's Nashville (2012-)
Shelby - a county in east Texas
Summer - most country folks love summer, the season
Sunday - I don't know it just seems like a country name
Tennessee - after the home of country music, I think it could swing between genders
Wendi/Wendy - I personally prefer Wendi with the "i" better

Boy Names
Austin - capital of Texas
Bandit - taken for the three movies of Smokey and the Bandit, played by Bert Reynolds
Cash - the last name of the great country singer (1932-2003)
Dusty - from the movie Pure Country
Guunar - one of the stars from ABC's Nashville (2012-)
Jasper - a county in east Texas
John Wayne - John Wayne doesn't need to be defined...John Wayne is John Wayne. The end.
Johnny - from Heidi Newfield's song "Johnny and June"
Johnny Cash - after the great country singer (1932-2003)
Lane - after the rodeo bull rider, Lane Frost, who died while riding Red Rock on July 30, 1989
Lee - a county in southeast Texas
Levi - the jeans Levi, some of the first jeans worn by country folk
Tennessee - after the home of country music, I think it could swing between genders
Tex/Texas - after the Great State of Texas, wouldn't that make a unique middle name? Lee Tex?
Tyler - a county in east Texas
Wyatt - from the movie Pure Country
Willard - from the movie Footloose (2011)
Young - a county a little east of the Texas Panhandle, could make a unique middle name
