I'm going to tell you something deep down in Yoeli and I's heart. We don't like talking about it because we think about crying every time someone mentions her or we think about her.
Told by Wenya
It was my sophomore year of high school and Yoeli 8th grade year that my grandma died. I can remember every detail from that day like it was yesterday and today is the second year she's been gone. My grandma had by diagnosed with Leuwy Body Dementia when I was in middle school. Luewy Body Dementia is the closest I ever want to be to a living hell again. It puts alzheimers to shame. I don't know if you've ever seen anyone with Alzheimer but they can't remember anyone or anything. Luewy

Why I Wear a Ring
Great title, huh? That's probably why all y'all wanna read it? Well I hoped you wanted to read it because I wrote interesting, fascinating, and fun posts. I'm just teasin' y'all! Anyway, back to topic.
When I first started wearing it, lots of people gave me some awfully funny looks because I was way too young for a ring, a ring on the ring finder that is. But I liked it, I wanted it, I had to have it, and so I wore it right on my ring finger. (Not to mention I was only in eighth grade at this time.) And now y'all are looking at me awfully funny, if you could look at me, but you're looking at a screen with words. I'm done scaring y'all now. So it wasn't an engagement, wedding band, or anything like such. But I did wear a ring on my ring finger. Eighth graders aren't suppose to wear rings on that finger you may say but I will argue against that.

On Our Knees
I had planned to blog about Lane Frost and more on Social Grace (see the last Social Grace post), but a new more pressing post idea came to mind when my sister asked me about the "City on Our Knees" song. My sister is the Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood girl, so pretty much like me, all country music. She asked my mom, "Do you know that "City on Our Knees" song?" My mom, being the non-contemporary Christian music momma, told her to ask her sister [Wenya]. I told her, "Oh, yeah I know that song. It's been out for awhile [since 2010]". So I pulled it up for her on youtube, and we listened to Billy Graham do some talking in the interludes. In the beginning while Graham was talking, she asked me if it started with "If you gotta start somewhere". I knew the answer was yes, but for some reason I told her I don't remember.
Anyway, this is for everyone who is ambitious, driven, and feeling lost about their faith.

100th Post
Yoeli and Wenya are sorry we haven't posted awhile, school is back in the swing. Meh. But we decided we should do something special for our one hundredth post, which happen to be while school was in full swing. So we finally decided on trying our skills at drawing out the states and labeling all of them. When we finally had executed this plan Wenya's scanner was too old for her laptop to recognize it. But just recently the laptop has been hacked around to finally recognizes the scanner so we can post this officially!

If I wasn't so lady like...
One of Yoeli and I's most commonly used phrases this summer has been "If I wasn't so lady like...". Yoeli and I aren't really ladies, but yet we are...if that makes any sense? We were raised by a grandma everyone described as classy and elegant. Back when my daddy and Yoeli's mom were going to high school, one of my daddy's classmates called my grandma a fox, that's just how nice my grandma still looked at her age. (If you don't know what fox means, fox was code for hot back then.) So Yoeli and I have this mix between our Grandma's classy lady qualities and our country farm cowgirl qualities, which actually turns out incredibly well in a weird kind of way.
Anyways, back to the how to the "If I wasn't so lady like" thing. Somethings that will never change about Wenya and Yoeli is our reasons behind why we say if "I wasn't so lady like". You would have to get us in a remarkably "I'm gonna kill" state to make us do some un-lady like things.

Some say it's true and some say it's a lie. Does your eye color change with your mood? I think there's some truth to it, but you also have to be careful not to jump the gun and say your eye color has change if your in the sun or wearing a certain color of clothes because your eyes with reflect different colors. But I was told this summer I had really blue eyes, which my eyes are blue (when I was born and on my license) but they aren't really blue today. My eyes are green again and I think I know why. It could be the lighting or the clothes but I'm pretty sure it's not the reason my eyes are green. My eyes are green because my bestie, Yoeli, left me again to go 670 miles the wrong way. (P.S. She promised to write more on the blog after she got back.) So I'm in the lonely, depressed, and "I don't know what to do with myself" state at the moment probably until school starts or later.

10 Randoms Things You Didn't Know
Wenya and Yoeli are an odd two, just thought you should know (if you didn't already).
1. Wenya and Yoeli have an obsession with the length of their hair. Yoeli likes her hair at her butt. Wenya likes her hair right between her mid back and Wranglers. Both Wenya and Yoeli's don't have their hair at their desired lengths...
2. Yoeli has read 32 books since she got out of school in June...that's a lot of books...
3. Wenya doesn't like waking up in the morning at all, ever. She only ever wears mascara for makeup because of lack of time. And that doesn't bother her at all.
4. Wenya and Yoeli spend 80% of their summer (June - August) together, literally.

Live for the Western Lifestyle
My sister asked me today why I wasn't horse crazy when I was little but I am now. I told her I'm not horse crazy now either I just like horses. I've been thinkin' all day since then what it is that makes me loves horses so much if I'm not the little girl who knew everything about horses.
I finally figured it out. I'm not obsessed with the horses, I'm obsessed with the western lifestyle. I'm obsessed with followin' the boys around the farm, huggin' the horse's neck, and watchin' the sunset to starry sky. I'm not just "obsessed" with horses but I'm obsessed with the lifestyle of western living.

When Goodbye Never Comes Easy
I wrote this short little guy and sent it to my best friend right after I gave her a goodbye hug and heard her drive away, and felt like dying in the inside for the third time.
P.S. Goodbyes suck never ever do goodbyes, even if that means only ever saying hello.
Sometimes holding it together doesn't mean remembering.
Sometimes no goodbye means an easier time forgetting.
And sometimes forever only means three years.
Goodbyes never come easier.
Hello never comes kindly.
And forever is never long enough.

Two Things
This is kind of something I thought would be, I don't know, thoughtful and make you think I suppose. So here is two things I won't and don't search for on the internet for a good reason, but off the internet it depends. (If there is a good lookin' cowboy across the room I can't help myself. I make sure he has got Wranglers, pointed/snip toe boots, pearl snaps, the right cowboy hat, etc it's a habit...)
1. Photos of Cowboys (Hot guys)
It feels wrong to me, it's like looking at porn in my world. I already know what I want, and when I see what I want I think I'm going to know it. So therefore I don't need to look for that on the internet because that is the world of photoshop and unrealistic people, but now if you were to go to the rodeo or a sale barn that is where the non-photoshopped cowboys are at.

Daily Fill of Laughs
Howdy ya'll! I know that Wenya and I have both had our share of a rough week, one with a grandma in the hospital and the other with a great grandma in the hospital. So I thought it was high time we all had a few laughs... You know me, the comedian of the two :) So I found this picture not that long ago and thought it was a hoot :) You'll get that when you see it :) Well that's about all for this one... til next time :)

Make it Last
"Take each day and make it last". This post reflects back on Yoeli's post "He Only Takes Best". Just a little bit of the behind the story if you don't understand. We're cousins, and our Grandma died a year ago from a disease that over took ever part of her body called Lewy Body Dementia. (Look it up if you don't know what it is.) Just to say things summed up we've been through what some people would call Hell, but everything we've gone through has made us stronger. If you ask me that isn't Hell, that's growin' a little stronger; all towards God.

He Only Takes the Best
God saw that she was getting weak
And a cure was not to be,
So He put His arm around her
And whispered, "come with Me!"
With tearful eyes we watched her suffer,
and saw her fading away.
Although we loved her dearly
we couldn't make her stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands are at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove,
He only takes the best.

Wenya y Yoeli Conversations
I bet you wonder what life Wenya and Yoeli live...we are a strange pair of high school girls. So I thought maybe I'd share a couple little helpings of our conversations via text.
"That darn hippo! :) He must have been feelin' his wheaties :)" - Yoeli
"As long as the barn is full. My boots are always on my feet, with a saddle over my shoulder, and hay in my hair at the end of the day :)" - Yoeli
"Haha oh I love you so much :) -ILoveCowboys-" -Wenya
"You don't look like a nerd, your country breed, darlin' -ILoveCowboys-" - Wenya
"Thank ya ma'am. So are you :)" - Yoeli

Hate School but Love Education
This short little video my cous' put on his wall is so true. Okay, I'm gonna rethink as to why I'm in the classes I am and why I want to degree I do. If you were wonderin' what I'm going into for college, I'm considering to go into Animal Science and maybe Veterinarian Medicine (large animal or equine).

Stronger than you seem...
I know that you may think that Winnie the Pooh is really little kiddish, but I would argue that you're wrong. We can learn from everything around us even if if is a little kid show that we used to watch when we were about five years old. Anyways that isn't why I posted these two quotes. I posted these quotes because I think that they are very true for my life. And even though I really like the Hunger Games books I'm not a fanatic about them or anything I just liked the story. So if you were to ask me team Peta or team Gale I probably wouldn't give you an answer right away :) But do you ever have those moments where you come across a quote and it just strikes you as being true in your life? I get this all the time. These are just two of many that I have saved for later dates. But after a while in life it gets really hard to not fall apart after you have gone through a certain amount of hardship. But even after you've hit rock bottom there is always a secret ladder that will take you back to the top and that is God. This post is really different from the ones I've posted in the past, because most of those were funny ones, but I decided to branch off and do this instead. I'm not really sure which I like better :) but I
